Emotional Intelligence – EQ
All courses will be customised to meet your specific training requirements; the following example outline however provides indicative content for this Workshop.
Course Description
‘Emotional Intelligence’ is a highly participative course which is designed to allow delegates to both explore and understand how the ‘intelligences’ work and increase personal confidence in using emotions to raise both individual and team performance.
Successful business leaders and managers not only need to be experts in their own field but also require the skills of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) if they are to maximise intra-personal, inter-personal and organisational effectiveness. EQ is the ability to recognise and regulate one’s own feelings and emotions, understand and be sensitive to others and, to use feelings to guide others. Understanding and applying the knowledge gained from our emotions aids effective functioning, builds trust and enhances decision making.
